Ingredients
- 1/2 lemon, to squeeze the finished dish
- 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 3 tablespoons of dry white wine
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil (or canola oil)
- Half a teaspoon of ground paprika
- 3 tablespoons chicken broth
- Half teaspoon ground black pepper
- Half a teaspoon of salt
- 1 pound large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
Instructions
- Combine salt, pepper, and paprika, then sprinkle over shrimp and toss to combine.
- In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium/high heat. Once hot, add shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes per side, until fully cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the pan and cover to keep them warm.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and butter and stir over medium heat for 1 minute until fragrant, stirring frequently so that garlic does not burn.
- Pour in wine and broth and cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Add the shrimp back to the skillet. Add fresh parsley and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over shrimp, as desired. Stir gently to combine the shrimp and serve immediately.
