Simple Recipe for Grape Jelly Meatballs

The greatest recipe for a starter is meatballs in grape jelly. Meatballs that are juicy and tender that have been slow-cooked to perfection in a sweet and sour sauce. If you are using a smaller crock pot, you may simply scale up or down this recipe.

  • spicy garlic sauce in 2 teaspoons
  • 1.5 cups barbecue sauce Ray Sweet is adored by us.
  • 32 ounces of completely cooked and frozen meatballs
  • one cup of smokers' grape jelly

  • To the bottom of the slow cooker, add grape jelly, chili sauce, barbecue sauce, and frozen meatballs. Blend well after mixing.
  • Simmer for 3 to 4 hours with the lid on, stirring once in the middle of the cooking process. Until you are ready to serve, keep warm and covered. If you'd like, add some parsley or chives as a garnish.

The meatballs receive a slight lift from the chili sauce. You can completely skip the chili sauce if you like your meatballs to be on the sweeter side.

My mom used to make this recipe starting in the 1960’s for all our family get together when ever we had a crowd. It always brings back happy memories when l make it now! She also would use canned cranberries instead of grape jelly to give it a bit of tartness. Sooooo yummmmy!
