  • 1 and a third cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoons of salt
  • Baking soda, half a teaspoon
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • One big egg
  • peanut butter, 1/3 cup
  • brown sugar, 1/3 cup
  • granulated sugar, 2/3 cup
  • at room temperature, half a cup of unsalted butter

  • The oven should be heated at 350 degrees. 2 large baking sheets should be lined with butter paper.
  • Combine the butter, brown sugar, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl using an electric mixer. Combine the eggs and peanut butter after adding them.
  • Add the salt, flour, baking soda, and baking powder to a different basin (sift the flour once). Blend until mixed after adding to peanut butter mixture.
  • The dough should be rolled into 1-inch balls, spaced 3 inches apart on the baking sheet that has been prepared, and flattened with a fork in a crisscross pattern.
  • Bake the cookies for 8 to 9 minutes, or until the bottoms start to turn brown. After removing from the oven and cooling for 5 minutes, move to a wire rack.

sometimes I use chunky PB in my cookies, they taste great.
Do you think it would be ok to use it in these cookies, and can you put a candy kiss on this cookie if you don’t flatten the cookie before its baked

Great recipe! After reading the reviews I added some chocolate chips to half of the batter. Since I used salted butter I used less salt. I made did for my 23 year granddaughter. Her response was a yum yum dance!
